After 2020, we welcome 2021 with open arms, a clearer mind and a spacious heart that has been stretched wide, ready and willing to receive the many blessings to come. 2021 will be marked by further crumbling of the old fear-based structures allowing fresh Love-infused energies to enter in. There will be many opportunities to build on the new foundations we have established in 2020 as well as surprising and sudden openings to take further advantage of the breakthroughs we have realized in 2020. If we failed to heed the clarion calls in 2020 encouraging us to learn how to find Love within, to open our Heart to the Love that is offering Itself to us in an unprecedentedly direct and insistent way (which is one of the great blessings of this time!), and to be free of the of the mind’s tormenting compulsion to worry, blame and judge, 2021 may be a bit challenging. But here is the good news – the energies and opportunities of 2020 will be hanging around throughout January 2021! So, if we have resisted or ignored the call to a new way of being, if we have insisted on replaying old patterns of fear, blame and judgment, or fallen for the false promise of addictive attachments, NOW is the time to choose differently. The longer we resist and deny the call to Love and Awakening, the more compelling and jarring the wake up calls become. And the sooner we embrace this new, more Real and Loving way of being, the more the new energies of 2021 will support and uplift us. So let us set a clear intention and choose anew now.
Do not fear – that would only be bowing to the ego-mind. Not succumbing to its incessant thoughts that create suffering is one of our most important tasks as evolving human beings. In fact, the shift from a mind-identified reality to an Energy or Awareness based reality IS the primary evolutionary shift happening in our Universe at this time through us as human beings. That is how significant each of our lives are. Challenging events are not some kind of pointless nuisance, grueling test or karmic payback for past deeds, but rather they are catalysts for Awakening – for making this evolutionary leap.
Some of the keys for surviving and thriving in 2021 will be agility and flexibility; the ability to remain unattached to outcomes; willingness to step away from the crowd since the vast majority of human beings are still strongly identified with the fear-based ego/mind (this is an INNER decision, not a shunning of relationships); allowing the world and other people to be as they are; not getting lost in outer events; remaining focused on our inner process of awakening (which is the only way Love enters into the world); and allowing Divine Energy to directly bless and assist us (especially this!).
2021 will be a year of many twists and turns, even earthshaking events, often sudden and unexpected, in every conceivable way. ALL of it will create further openings for Love to enter in. If we focus more on the emergence of Loving Consciousness rather than on world events, we will see the Light of Love breaking through the clouds. We will witness more and more expressions of Divine Love and Energy coming through individuals, organizations, and in many other ways. While this Light will reveal the immensity and darkness of some of the obscuring clouds, this bringing the darkness into the Light is essential and liberating. The key is to remain focused on Love, the Essence, the Divine Energy rather than on worldly events. Even beyond being a witness of Love breaking through clouds, we can realize that we ARE that Divine Light and Energy. We are not who we think we are, we are not merely a thought or perception, we are Life Energy Itself. Realizing this in 2021 is a real possibility.
