How your words limit you

January 2020

We’ve all said this at one time or another, and it’s a curious aspect of healing work. It usually happens when we want to move forward but then experience resistance flush up through what I call the “yes, but…..”s.

“Yes I would like to start a business, but………”
“Yes I want to meet my soulmate, but……”
“Yes I need to make changes in my health, but……”

Many reasons are added to complete the last part of the sentence. The results are still the pattern of saying yes that it would be nice to have whatever it is that you’re asking for, but then followed by reasons of why it isn’t time, won’t work, can’t happen, or whatever else flushes up.

As an Energy/Intuitive Coach who works regularly with transformational energies, I don’t see the “yes, but” mindset as negative but instead as an important opportunity to uncover information. These statements help identify subconscious programs, beliefs, or fears that may be holding you back and that can be released and healed to move you forward.

An important way to make the “yes, but” work for you is by paying attention to how the sentence is completed. When the resistance is identified, you can start clearing the hidden unconscious blocks and free stuck energies and move into trust and flow.

The “yes I want to, but here’s why I can’t” sentence can be turned into an important and necessary part of creating your best life. As you pay attention to them, you can start clearing them and let powerful transformations begin.

In Light,
