Spiritual Truths for Your Contemplation

Spiritual Truths for Your Contemplation

Expand your consciousness through contemplation of these spiritual teachings.

One of the ways spiritual seekers work to integrate higher understandings is through the contemplation of spiritual truths. I often tell my students that to contemplate an understanding is to hold it gently, allowing for the fullness of the concept to emerge without grasping or feeling that one has to think hard about it. Here, I offer you an excerpt from my recently published book, Rending the Veils: A Primer on Spiritual Awakening. This passage comes from chapter Basic Truths, and should offer you an opportunity to begin to integrate the following:

your divine nature,

there is only One appearing as everything,

you are individuated but never separated, and your life is your spiritual path.

“In Truth, the very essence of you is divine. While the ego is the “sinner,” the real you is God, itself. Your divine nature is:
BEGINNINGLESS
ENDLESS
FORMLESS
SINGLE
BEING
KNOWLEDGE
BLISS

Look back now at each of those words, one at a time, and allow the fullness of what each word represents to enter in your consciousness. Really take your time and contemplate what it means to be SINGLE, meaning not only is there only one of you, but you are the only one appearing as everything. Meditate on these words and commit them to your memory. Remind yourself daily that you are what these words represent, and only these words.

Each one of us in form is connected to our mighty I AM presence. However, the I AM, or The Monad, vibrates at such a high frequency that it is oblivious to our current seeming existence in this fallen, low vibrational realm. The Christed consciousness level of awareness exists between the lower realms and the I AM and can act as an intermediary between both. While Christed consciousness is aware of what is going on here, it exists in the Illumined, non-polarized state of the Unified Field.

What does that mean?  Simply, that within the Illumined Worlds, which exist outside of separation and physical densification, all beings know themselves to be God. While they exist as individuated aspects of God, they experience themselves to be One with all other aspects. Metaphorically, they are drops of water in the thought-form ocean of God. You see, in Truth, there can never be separation from God.

God is singular…the Source…Prime Creator…the All that Is. If this is accurate, it only stands to reason that NOTHING could exist outside of it, as there is no outside of everything. This is a simple statement, yet the implications are profound. Just the integration of this one concept into your consciousness has the power to change your worldview permanently.

God is ALL that IS.
Everything exists WITHIN God.
God lives in you and through you AS YOU.

It is time to build on the previous Truth with another layer of that understanding. We now recognize that God, or Spirit, is ALL there is; therefore, everything is Spirit.

This particular Truth leads to one of the most fundamental teachings in our work, which is that your life is your spiritual path.

You have been taught to categorize and compartmentalize aspects of your life, but it was never a remotely accurate way to view your life. You aren’t spiritual here and there, but “regular” or “normal” everywhere else.  Remember, you live, move, and have your being IN Spirit, and everything in your life has been placed there by Spirit for the express purpose of assisting your expansion into greater levels of awareness, guiding you home.

You learned from early on that you had to search outside of yourself for God. You were taught different ways to connect with God, be it through church, praying, meditation, being in nature, etc. Perhaps you were told that if you wanted to realize God, you had to become more spiritual and there were ways to do that.

However, whether you live a purely secular life as an atheist or spend decades as a spiritual ascetic deep in meditation in a Himalayan cave, your life, moment by precious moment, IS your spiritual path. It is your level of conscious awareness and how you live your life which determines your rate of evolution and amount of awareness of your divine connection, not the compartmentalized “spiritual” things you do in your life.

It is crucial that you understand this because it will allow you to begin looking at the totality of your life and your individual experiences for the clues pointing to where your consciousness has remained ensnared in the dream of duality.” (pp. 33-38)

It is my honor to share these words with you and to be a small piece of your journey; a journey back to a home you never, in highest Truth, departed.

May we all walk in love together,
