Apples, spinach, celery, avocado, and sunflower seeds are all packed with flavanoids, vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes that all fight to reduce inflammation, aid digestion, and protect the stomach lining. All together, this is the perfect salad to fight acid reflux!
Ingredients
1 apple, any kind
2 handfuls fresh spinach
1 rib of celery
.5 avocado
A sprinkle of sunflower seeds
Instructions
Wash the spinach thoroughly and let dry. Pat dry with a towel if needed.
Wash and slice the apple and celery into thin, bite sized pieces.
Dice the avocado.
Toss all the ingredients together and sprinkle with sunflower seeds.

Notes:
For a bigger salad, double the recipe.
Any dressing can be used, but a light drizzle of olive or avocado oil with a dash of cracked pepper is best.
For some added protein, add some crumbled tofu.
