Overview:
Events of the last month (February) were clearly dominated by the planetary energies of Saturn-Uranus square (especially for USA and in particularly for Texas where the dominant square’s influence vividly reflected in mishandling and un-preparedness of Texas private energy companies by ignoring their responsibilities for providing power to people), along with transformational Capricorn Pluto, crowding of planets in Capricorn and the retrograde Mercury in Capricorn (Feb 1-21, especially during Feb 13-21— anxieties, communication breakdowns, unexpected delays, frustrations, missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores).
The month of March is likely to continue witness similar events as the influence of the Saturn-Uranus square remains dominant for USA, especially for the west coast and Texas. The manifestation of this undesirable planetary square is likely to be reflected in both the natural and man-made calamities causing destruction and loss of lives during this period (Possibilities: return of Covid-19 pandemic or other new virus-related crisis, climate change crisis, uprising in Middle East, Russia and the United States). Incidentally, there is a strong possibility of earthquake of large magnitude (around 9 or so) sometime during March, especially in the second half of March. It can happen anywhere in the world.
If one looks at a deeper level to understand these events, the underlined theme is certainly in line with Pluto’s Capricorn transit that started just about a year ago. As I outlined in 2020 annual predictions:
“This era (next 19 to 20 years) will be remembered as the period of material destruction and transformation to a new and very different way of living that would align with our human evolution. The way we have been used to deal with material world will no longer be our norms. Although it’s very likely that some of the world business leaders or companies will either become obsolete or transformed into other forms, the material way of living will be greatly influenced by our collective spiritual experiences and subsequent understanding of the world due to Pluto’s transformational transit in Capricorn.”
Bumpy Road Ahead…
Saturn-Uranus Square (January 18 – July 19)
One of the most important planetary combinations of 2021 is the Capricorn Saturn and Aries Uranus square during January 18 thru July 19 and then during the entire month of December 2021.
Aries being a fire and cardinal sign is very suitable for brilliant, independent, ambitious, energetic, impulsive and crazy Uranus. The changes in world political landscape have been tremendously influenced by Uranus’s transit in Aries (examples: Brexit’s revival, Briton intensely suffering from Covid-19 crisis, defeat of Donald Trump and inauguration of president-elect Joe Biden as the next President of the United States).
Now combine the explosive Uranus’s energy with that of steadfast and subtle but very powerful energy of Capricorn Saturn through its challenging position in regard to Uranus. It’s a perfect combination for material world disasters including the natural calamities such as a possible outbreak and spreading of new virus. Unless these energies are properly understood, the man-made calamities might include increased friction between world powers (USA-Russia and China) perhaps resulting into war-like climate.
The people who are likely to be most affected are military personnel, people in power such as business leaders and political leaders. In scientific and technological areas expect drastic changes. On a positive note, emerging new ideas will find their ways into innovations and discoveries. Since the characteristics of Uranus are closely tied with that of the United States and especially the states of California, Oregon and Washington, the likelihood of serious natural and man-made calamities, political and financial upheavals is very strong.
As far as the United States is concerned, since characteristics of Uranus are more aligned with liberal ideas and that of Saturn with conservatism, I wouldn’t be surprised if an intense battle emerges between the right-wing republicans and the left-wing democrats not only in congress but all over the country that might last until July.
Here is the silver lining:
During Jan 28 thru Mar 10, the activation of positive energy will certainly be reflected in events and activities all around the world including political alliances, scientific breakthroughs, Covid-19 under control with unprecedented vaccination success, and hope and optimism about better future.
How does March look for President Joe Biden?
Presently for President Joe Biden, the planetary picture is extraordinarily active and mixed one. No wonder that he is currently swamped with so many challenges and responsibilities that he must handle them simultaneously and expeditiously.
Till March 19, he will be achieving quite a few goals that he has set out to do, and these are likely to include humanitarian needs such as Covid-19 vaccinations, distribution of stimulus money to needy, schools opening, and perhaps immigration related matters. After March 19 however, he may face stagnation due to obstacles that he may not have control over.
The energy of Mars will be a real challenge for President Biden through the entire month. In dealing with congress, both the republicans and democratic alike, he will be seriously challenged to advance his agenda for getting things done. However, with continued efforts he is likely to achieve at least a reasonable amount of success if not everything he wanted.
Overall, it’s a very intense month for the President as he must face challenges on several fronts simultaneously and expeditiously.

A period that can be viewed as a real positive from self-discovery standpoint since it will require you to bring best out of you to deal with situations around you.
