Overview
Events for the month of September are likely to be dominated by the energy of the Pluto-Uranus ninefold square lasting through October 4 and the activation force of the retrograde motion of the five major planets: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter.
As it was outlined in my 2020 and 2021 annual predictions, the sidereal Capricorn Pluto’s energy have been responsible for the drastic changes in material world due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent surges in its variants. The way we used to deal with material world is no longer our norms. The continued process of the material world transformation seems to take us to a level of material living where the norms solely based on our collective spiritual experiences dictate and guide our lives with a new level of material world understanding. And Saturn, being with Pluto in Capricorn for at least until mid 2022, will likely intensify the process of this transformation.
In addition, the sidereal Aquarius, Neptune, and Jupiter, also in the sign ruled by Saturn, are likely to significantly aid this process of spiritual transformation. While it’s a very painful process (wars, violence, significant rise in both the man-made and natural calamities, uncertainty and anxiety-filled atmosphere almost all around the world), the silver lining of spiritual growth will continue to remain unabated.
The manifestation of the energies of these five major retrograde planets will likely to be reflected in a slow economic growth and the stalled progress in new economic and political activities all around the world. Perhaps at this point in time, it might collectively prove to be wise to step back and reflect on what’s been happening around us and where we are going from here. We may be forced to change our priorities for our way of living.
The energy of the Pluto-Uranus ninefold square is likely to be responsible for a challenging time for the United States with respect to the war-like climate in the Middle-East especially in Afghanistan, Syria and Israeli-Palestine region.
Retrograde Jupiter (June 20 – October 18)
On June 20, Jupiter turned retrograde in sidereal Aquarius. With its retrograde motion it will return to the sidereal Capricorn on September 15. It will continue to be retrograde in Capricorn until October 18.
While it’s in Aquarius, it’s the time for academia, social reformers, philosophers, philanthropists, and people involved in social justice and morality related fields to step back a little and reflect on what has been achieved or done so far. When it’s in Capricorn, entrepreneurs, business people, CEO’s of big companies, money managers, etc., should consider taking a pause in their activities and review their goals and agendas.
For those who have a well-placed Jupiter in their birth charts and if Jupiter’s period is currently in operation are likely to feel a slight deceleration in their progress. Remember it’s only temporary! Need to put more energy in to whatever you do to achieve the same result that you would have achieved when it’s direct. Especially those born with Capricorn, Libra, Leo, Gemini and Aries as a ninefold (Navamansha) ascendant are likely to do well while Jupiter in Aquarius, and those who are born with Sagittarius, Virgo, Cancer, Taurus and Pisces as a ninefold (Navamansha) ascendant would experience favorable period when Jupiter in Capricorn.
On the world scene, particularly in religious world, “Confusion” will dominate, and agendas get stalled. The world economy is likely to experience to be slower.
Jupiter’s transit in the sidereal Aquarius (Phase 1: April 5 – Sept 15)
On April 5, Jupiter left (sidereal) Capricorn and temporarily entered the next zodiac sign, Aquarius. Jupiter’s transit from one zodiac sign to the next occurs, on average, once a year. This time, the first phase of Jupiter’s transit in Aquarius will last until Sept 15, 2021.
Jupiter’s manifestation in Aquarius will certainly be reflected in emergence of new philosophies, philosophical debates, and as a result, perhaps new norms and new way of living. For the entire world, in general, it’s going to be an auspicious time from the philosophical and collective spiritual advancement point of view. The resulting philosophical influences will likely to be long lasting as Aquarius is a fixed sigh.
On individual levels, for those who have dominant Jupiter in their birth charts and have Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, Leo, or Libra as their natal ninefold (Navamansa) ascendant are likely to experience a very positive period beginning April 5 thru September 15, and then Nov 20, 2021 thru April 13, 2022.
About President Joe Biden and his challenges…
For President Joe Biden, the month September may prove to be extremely challenging if not disastrous as he will be dealing with crisis of bringing American home from Afghanistan and Afghan refugees.
Given the transit (Gochar) chart dispositions of his active planets, Jupiter will be favorable for him till September 17 and then slightly less favorable to neutral for the rest of the month.
After Sept 17, Jupiter will be neutral, and he is likely to get stuck in achieving his goals. Mercury continues to be unfavorable for him for the entire month and that will be reflected in strenuous and stressful situation in dealing with media as well as his adversaries. He is likely to be seen as a failure and being humiliated. His popularity will certainly be on decline, at least for a short term.
In addition, the 12th house transiting (Gochar) Mars will be extremely challenging for him as he is likely to be severely attacked and accused by his critics on a daily basis.
More importantly, the continuation of the opposition of the transiting Uranus to his natal Mars will likely to continue to test his ability to govern. It will be a very painful experience for him, especially the energy of the transiting Uranus opposing his natal Mars is likely to force him to be more confrontational, the act that he always like to avoid.
Overall, September may turn out to be a month of disaster despite his recent success in getting infrastructure bill passed in the senate. However, he is likely to come out stronger than before in the following few months.

The important challenging possibilities for September include:
Aug 8 – Oct 4: A unique change in the way the current US administration deals with other nations with respect to its international agenda, and also with its domestic matters. (This has been clearly reflected in current Afghanistan crisis–getting Americans out of Afghanistan safely, and providing the asylum to the frightened Afghans, especially women). There has been a transformation of a political strategy that has become responsible of a change in the current political agenda, and foreign policy matters of the Biden administration as the planet Pluto with its tremendous energy has a power of irreversibly transform the field of politics to a new level or setting with a new set of norms. Expect some more serious issues that the Biden administration could get tangled with.
Aug 27 – Sept 10: A social or political turmoil in the USA, Russia and or China as well as tensions rising among them.
Sept 1 -3: A rise in covert activities all around the world. China and Russia are likely to experience some very drastic changes in the political arena, and those changes will likely to influence the psyche of those nations at a deeper level.
Sept 7-13: Challenges that the world religious leaders must face and deal with. Those who are willing to be open minded, ready to listen and act on new ideas are the ones that going to be responsible in transforming our religious world to a new level. Others will fade away with time.
Sept 9-20: Religions around the world may find difficulties in carrying out their activities. More controversies are likely to occur to test traditional moral values, and in general, religious authorities will have difficulty in having people keep their faith.
Sept 26 – Oct 8: A new wave of violence in Afghanistan, Syria, Israel and Palestine region, as well as outbreak of terrorism around the world during these days.
The important auspicious possibilities for September include:
July 29 – Sept 14: A good period for European and Russian economy. This period is also good for progress in technical fields (new innovations and discoveries) and religious reconciliation.
Sept 8 – Oct 3: A positive period for Russia and China. Also, most of the technological areas are likely to make significant progress via inventions and discoveries. Spiritual and religious activities are likely to impart positive energy and create a very healthy atmosphere around us.
The countries that are more likely to be affected during this month are: The Middle Eastern countries-Afghanistan, UAE, Bahrain Israel and Palestine; and United States, Russia, China and Europe.
Natural and Man-made Calamities……..
The natural calamities like extreme weather conditions, wildfires, hurricanes, heavy rains, snowstorms, air crashes as well as man-made accidents are more likely to occur during Sept 1-10, 15-30.

Planetary Energies for Individuals
Uranus-Jupiter ninefold conjunction (Sept 7-13)
While Jupiter deals with outward and material things Uranus’s energy is very sudden and intense. If you have such conjunction in your birth chart, and if you have any one of these two planets active through your Gochar (transit) chart then you are certainly going to experience an extreme transformation (irreversible change) in your beliefs and moral values that you have been attached to. This period is a challenging and transformational one. If you overcome the challenge, then it’s time for marching ahead with a quantum step in the process of self-discovery (or evolution).
Pluto-Saturn ninefold trine (Aug 29 – Sept 14)
If through your current Gochar (transit) chart, the energy of either Pluto or Saturn is active and if Pluto is favorably positioned with respect to Saturn in your natal chart, expect a very favorable period. Such a positive period will be related to the affairs signified by the houses these planets occupy or aspects. For example, if the seventh house is involved, expect a new and positive development in a relationship, or business partnership, or success in capturing the audience if you deal with masses. If eleventh house is involved, it may financially prove to be a very rewarding period.
