Cleaning Tips for a Non-Toxic Home

The items needed to create your own cleaning supplies are fairly simple: 16 oz glass spray bottles, white vinegar, baking soda, peroxide, Thieves cleaner, and essential oils. Here are some simple recipes to get your started on your non-toxic home:
All Purpose Cleaner
In a glass spray bottle, place one capful of Thieves cleaner, and fill to the top with water.
Wood Furniture
In a glass spray bottle, mix two capfuls of Thieves cleaner, 20 drops of Bergamot essential oil, 1 cup olive oil, then top with water.
Glass and Mirrors
In a glass spray bottle, mix 1 capful of Thieves cleaner, 5 drops of Lemon essential oil, 1 tsp white vinegar, and fill to the top with water.
Bathroom Cleaner
In a glass spray bottle, mix 1 capful of Thieves cleaner, 2 tbsp liquid Castile soap, 6 oz peroxide, 4 drops Lavender essential oil, 4 drops Lemongrass essential oil, and fill to the top with water.
Deep cleaning
Mix baking soda with Thieves cleaner until desired consistency. Apply to the surface that needs to be cleaned. Wait 15 minutes, then scrub and wipe clean.
Heavy Degreaser
In a glass spray bottle, mix 2 capfuls of Thieves cleaner and fill to the top with water.
