Persea Americana, better known as the avocado, is an absolute powerhouse of a fruit. One single avocado fruit contains (based on daily value): 26% of vitamin K, 20% of Folate, 17% of vitamin C, 14% of Potassium, 14% of vitamin B5, 13% of vitamin B6, 10% of vitamin E, along with manganese, copper, iron, magnesium, zinc and vitamins A, B1, B2, and B3. They also contain high amounts of monounsaturated fatty acids.

Studies show that including one avocado a day in a healthy diet can increase memory health and problem solving skills Avocados have also shown to improve eye health and overall cognitive function. This is because of the amount of lutein in one avocado. Lutein is crucial for eye, blood and brain health that can act as a anti-inflammatory agent and, of course, as an antioxidant.
